We are at Barclay Villa often these days and LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!!!! Cathy, Katie, and Theresa are always so amazing to work with and the venue is amazing. I HIGHLY recommend this location to anyone getting married. You can also hold your bridal session at this venue during the week! Just make sure you hire us to do it ;). Anyway, we just delivered a portfolio at Barclay and I wanted to share some of the spectacular photos!!!!

Sarah's Pregnant!

I know some of you are already aware that I, Sarah, am pregnant =). Up until now nobody could tell at the weddings ( I think they were afraid to ask if I was expecting or getting fat! wink wink), but now I am definitely showing! I wanted to post a message to let you all know that I am doing very well and still working hard. I will not be taking off until right before the birth of our SON, David Gabriel Odelle Barnett (Gabriel for short). His due date is October 20th, 2009. We are taking a light load in October because my husband and I will be taking some time off. Terry and Rebecca (my dad, owner, and sister) will still be available. If you are booking a wedding for October do it NOW because we are almost booked full. We are only taking on one wedding per weekend! Contact us for more information! I have a photo of me at the Barrington House in Dunn, NC. I will also be taking pregnancy pictures soon, with dad of course, so I will post those when I get them. Here is one photo for now:
I was only 17 weeks in this picture and I am now going on 24 weeks. My other pictures are just "in the mirror photos" I've taken myself with a "snappy camera". My husband, Josh, took this one for me while we were waiting for a bride at a bridal session. I'll post more soon! A Day in the City!

We recently delivered a spectacular engagement portfolio from a day in downtown Raleigh. We had such a great time finding new "shooting spots" and the couple was amazing! We love to find free areas to shoot and downtown Raleigh is just the place. Here are a few pictures from the shoot, enjoy!

Snow '09!

I finally have pictures from my snow day wedding dress shoot! I am planning on entering one for a magazine contest. I figure they are unique enough to win! Dad and I went out when it snowed here in Fayetteville and took these shots. We had SOOO much fun and came away with great shots in about 15 minutes. My hands and arms were getting too red to continue much longer than 15-20 minutes, so we made it quick. Here are a few for you to view!
